...I'm off, headed for Ohio and my 25th high school reunion on the motorcycle, a week later than I had planned. Gonna have to make a bee-line to get there by next weekend, wish me luck. I'll be checking my home phone for voice messages (XXX-XXX-XXXX) frequently and e-mail sporadically and be sending updates as I go along...

...highly recommend Rte 24 through KS and MO. I didn't realize there was a helmet law in MO until I ran into another motorcycle guy at a gas station 20 mi before IL! Picked up another hitchhiker in MO...

...made it in at 2a after idling through an hour long back-up from an accident about 80 mi out. Note the IN grain elevators aren't as big as the ones in KS! Reunion tonight, hope this drizzle lets up or I may arrive as a wet puppy...
